We will be attending the Young Epilespy Conference, to be held in Solihull in October. We are supporting this charity and conference as we have a family member with epilepsy. Please come if it is of interest and say 'Hello!'. Trabasacks will be available to purchase and try out for any guests to the event.


Our other exciting news is that we are co-founding a new group of ethical and customer led businesses called the Kandu Group.

Trabsack has many uses other than as a laptop bag! We are very pleased to be included in a new specialist directory for equipment and technology resources for special education and technology.


Trabasack will be used by vistors to the REPLAY11 retro gaming event in Blackpool 5 and 6 November. The accessible gaming charity SpecialEffect have added to thier range of trabasacks for the event. More visitors to thier stand will be able to enjoy retro accessible gaming using adapted controllers, switches and modified games. Read more about the accessible retro gaming event.

At Trabasack we are very keen on supporting game accessibility for all. We were interested to see some new designs being chosen for a game accessibility icon at the Gamebase forum. Click through to look at the candidates.



We received an email from Jodi in USA, who has tried and discarded many trays but wanted us to know how useful she finds her trabasack as a powerchair tray.


While visiting at garden at the weekend I was inspired to write this page about wheelchair accessible dining at picnic tables.




After recieving a lovely picture from a mum showing her son with sensory toys on a trabasack, I wrote a post about creating homemade sensory toys.
